Overview

OmniToolbox provides browser-first utilities for PDFs, documents, images, signatures, and audio files. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have when using OmniToolbox.in. Our goal is to keep file processing private, fast, and limited to what is necessary for the service to work.

Files You Process

Many OmniToolbox tools run directly inside your browser. For browser-based tools, such as image resizing, signature optimization, PDF editing, and audio-to-MIDI processing, your selected file is read locally on your device and is not uploaded to our server. The output is generated in your browser and downloaded by you.

Some document conversions may require server-side processing because browser APIs cannot reliably perform every format conversion. When a server-side conversion is required, the file is used only to complete the requested conversion. Temporary input and output files are deleted after the response is completed and are also covered by an automated purge window designed to remove temporary files within a short safety period. We do not create public file galleries, sell uploaded files, or use your file contents for advertising profiles.

Account Information

If you create an account or sign in with Google, GitHub, or email credentials, we store basic account information such as your email address, display name when provided, authentication provider, account identifier, and timestamps needed to operate the account. Passwords for email accounts are stored only as secure hashes. We use this information to authenticate you, keep your session active, protect the service from misuse, and provide account-based access to the tools.

Cookies, Logs, and Advertising

OmniToolbox uses essential cookies for sign-in, session security, CSRF protection, and remembering basic interface preferences such as theme selection. Our hosting provider may collect standard technical logs, including IP address, browser type, request path, device information, and timestamps, to provide security, debugging, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring. If advertising is enabled, third-party ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own privacy policies and consent requirements.

If Google AdSense is enabled on OmniToolbox, Google and other third-party vendors may place or read cookies in your browser, use web beacons, or use similar technologies to serve ads based on your visit to this website and other websites. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also learn how Google uses advertising cookies at Google advertising technologies.

Retention and Security

Temporary processing files are kept only as long as needed to complete the requested operation and purge safeguards. Account records are kept while your account remains active unless deletion is requested or retention is required for security, fraud prevention, debugging, or legal reasons. We use reasonable technical safeguards, including HTTPS, protected authentication cookies, hashed passwords, access controls, and limited file retention. No website can guarantee perfect security, so you should avoid uploading files that you are not legally allowed to process.

Your Choices

You can choose not to create an account, clear browser cookies, or stop using a tool before selecting a file. You may request deletion of account-related data by contacting us. Deleting an account may remove access to account-based features but does not affect files that were processed locally and never uploaded to our server.
